The Case
When Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) needed to modernize and reinvigorate the brand of the organization to attract a wider audience of contributors without alienating current donors, they turned to Munroe Creative Partners.
Our Approach
Starting with the brand, Munroe Creative Partners created a new logo that communicates ERD’s global reach in a way that still feels connected and understandable to the individual supporter. Coupled with the tagline “Healing a hurting world” the brand became the foundation for all ERD’s communications. With a new, stronger brand in place, Munroe Creative Partners developed an intuitive website that actively engages the end user and, importantly, motivates them to act now. Munroe Creative Partners additionally helped ERD rethink their gift catalog by implementing the new brand, rewriting the gift descriptions and carefully rethinking the placement of all gifts, stories and calls to action in order to help increase sales.
The Result
Episcopal Relief & Development’s fundraising initiatives have grown year-on-year and continue to do so. In early 2009, ERD’s website received an annual Polly Bond award for general excellence. Presently, we are proudly working on the 2009-2010 Gifts for Life catalog.
