The Case

Abuelo’s is a Dallas, Texas based upscale Mexican restaurant concept serving authentic cuisine in an impressive courtyard setting. Seeking to facilitate further nationwide growth and enhance their customers’ perceptions, Abuelo’s turned to Munroe Creative Partners for brand leadership and expertise.

 

Our Approach

Munroe developed a new tagline “The Flavor of Mexico” and a strong visual identity that uses rustic earth and clay tones with old-world style typography. The new brand is substantial, authentic and connected to the community. Senior-level art-direction at photo shoots ensured images worked hard to increase sales and reinforce brand personality.

 

The Result

Applying the new brand across all marketing materials, Abuelo’s enjoyed increased sales in its individual restaurants, as well as increased brand-affinity and loyalty. Additionally, the company as a whole focused their long-term objectives, facilitating strategic nationwide growth.
