Case Studies › ITDP New Branding and Collateral
The Case
With growing programs in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP) was looking for a consistent new brand to gain donors and differentiate themselves from their competitors. ITDP turned to Munroe Creative Partners to create a cohesive branding system that would be easy to implement across their worldwide offices, as well as make an impact on donor dollars.
Our Approach
Munroe met with ITDP to review their current branding materials and to learn more about their sustainable transportation programs and how they were currently attracting donors. Overall, ITDP wanted their materials to be more environmentally friendly and people focused. With ITDP’s goals in mind, Munroe then created a Brand Standards Guide consisting of logo usage, a bold but friendly new color palette and new font suggestions for easier reading of their magazines and brochures. Design templates for stationery, business cards (both US and International), a pocket folder, tri-fold brochure, one-sheets, e-blasts, signage, a PowerPoint template, an awards announcement postcard and brochure, and the Sustainable Transport magazine were all rolled out following the new brand standards.
The Result
Since handing off the new Brand Standards Guide to ITDP, both ITDP employers and donors are excited about the new look. The consistent branding materials give ITDP a sense of confidence and competency, traits that have built trust and increased donations.
