Account Supervisor
We are a fast-paced advertising agency looking for a superstar Account Supervisor who is passionate, motivated, a problem solver, and organized with an ironclad attention to detail. While you must have a deep understanding in driving brand strategy and integrated advertising campaigns from inception and execution, this role also requires a strong understanding of digital projects and programs and ability to lead and supervise junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire process, including generating scope documents, discovery documents, strategic assessments, competitive reviews, creative briefs, etc. to full planning and execution of an assignment
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of each clients’ business – their key issues, goals, competitive situation, and industry trends – and provide strategic guidance to ensure that our creative solutions achieve those goals
- Lead multiple client accounts across creative, marketing/strategy, digital, media, and production initiatives/campaigns, acting as the primary liaison between the client and the agency, and ultimately serving as the keeper of “client knowledge”
- Supervise and guide junior team members
- Educate junior team members and potential clients about our methodology and process; create case studies of successful projects upon completion
- Identify insights and develop clear, concise briefs, plans of action and schedules that will help creative teams understand the direction communications/creative must take
- Maintain regular communication and contact with the client; maintain both efficiency and quality throughout the course of a project (while guaranteeing the proper correspondence trails)
- Manage the clients’ total budget and ongoing financial reconciliations
- Track projects with frequent status reports and quality reviews, identifying and communicating in advance any potential budget over-runs and quality issues
- Continuously seek expansion of services within existing clients
- Generate competitive cost estimates and respond to requests for proposals
- Works with senior account and finance team members to establish forecasts and ensures that financial goals are met/exceeded
- Work with production / media vendors to coordinate timing/execution and manage financial aspects of these vendors
- Assist as required with new business proposals and pitches
- Demonstrate strong leadership and presentation skills – for both internal and external audience
- Effectively balance the dual expectations of your multiple clients and the agency
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years Marketing or Advertising agency experience
- Experience – preferably within websites, social, email, SEO and paid
- Successful track record in creating and building valuable client relationships
- Hands on experience of CRM and Marketing Automation Software, specifically with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, MailChimp and Marketo
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Deep knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote required; Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) desired
- Client-serving team player: detail oriented with a collaborative, can do attitude
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
- Experience with Deltek WorkBook is a plus
