PDM Constructors has built its reputation in Philadelphia as a trusted partner delivering traditional and prefabricated construction solutions for commercial projects. As the company expanded beyond its regional roots and introduced an innovative modular bathroom pod offering, it faced a new challenge: elevating PDM as a parent brand with national ambitions while bringing a specialized product to market with a distinct identity of its own.
PDM & Durapods: A New Identity with National Ambition
To support this next phase of growth, we developed a brand architecture strategy that clarified the relationship between the parent company and its expanding portfolio of solutions.
The brand architecture established PDM Constructors as the master brand and introduced Durapods as its modular bathroom pod division. A complete visual and messaging system gave Durapods a distinct value proposition while maintaining a clear connection to the trusted expertise and reputation of PDM.
To capture PDM’s end-to-end expertise and sophistication, we developed a consistent photography style using thoughtful lighting and composition. The result is that every touchpoint across print and digital feels polished and unmistakably PDM.
The website showcased the full breadth of PDM’s expertise while creating a clear pathway for visitors to explore its modular bathroom pod products, Durapods.
We developed a comprehensive suite of sales and marketing collateral across both brands, including sell sheets, proposal templates, email campaigns, social media content, business development materials, and trade show experiences. Every touchpoint was designed to make it easy for architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to understand both the broader capabilities of PDM and the specialized value of Durapods.
The result was a cohesive brand ecosystem that positioned PDM Constructors for future growth while giving Durapods the visibility and differentiation needed to compete in a new category.
