Augmented Reality Is Really Fun—Especially When Rocky Is Involved.
When AR/VR maven Dream Syndicate asked if we could help them with the UX/UI design for their augmented reality app in time for an event at the 2019 SXSW Festival’s Amplify Philly house, we didn’t hesitate to say, “Heck yeah, we’re in!” When they told us the timeline was pretty much yesterday, we were like, “No problem—we can actually go back in time.” Just kidding. We can’t do that. But we can shift priorities and kick it into high gear like nobody’s business. Especially when there’s a virtual-Rocky-statue-that-you-can-make-appear-anywhere-you-are involved.
