Known as the “House of Cheese,” Di Bruno Bros. has been an iconic destination in the Philadelphia region since 1939. While this historic, gourmet market is a cheesemonger’s paradise, it also offers an array of unique items from around the world to its guests. To showcase its full range of specialty foods and drive in-store traffic, Munroe created a master brand campaign, elevating brand perception and raising awareness of their various products and offerings.

To celebrate the artistry and heritage of Di Bruno Bros., we developed the “So Much More” campaign. As artisans and pioneers, Di Bruno Bros. products are above and beyond what customers might expect. From a single wedge of cheese to a bottle of olive oil, this concept tells the story of authenticity and quality, while highlighting the excitement of experiencing something new.

The “So Much More” concept included an expanded campaign structure, blending various headlines, executions, and creative elements to powerfully communicate why Di Bruno Bros. is far from ordinary. Tactics included out-of-home advertising on billboards and bus shelters, where the messaging ties directly to the environment they are placed.

Our digital strategy focused on telling the full story behind Di Bruno Bros. premium products and the culinary pioneers who source and curate them. The approach included animated digital ads, a website landing page, and social media posts. We also proposed an alternative treatment of a digital ad called “Emilio’s Picks,” featuring short reviews of popular items by Emilio Mignucci, a third-generation owner of Di Bruno Bros. and culinary expert.

To create a truly end-to-end customer experience, the campaign extended across multiple touchpoints — including in-store signage and branded to-go bags — to reinforce the brand at every interaction. The Di Bruno Bros. master brand campaign is bold, authentic, and engaging while remaining approachable to local foodies, out-of-towners, and culinary connoisseurs alike.
