New Work: The Pennsylvania Ballet’s Nutcracker Commercial

Closing each year with the highly anticipated and critically acclaimed George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, The Pennsylvania Ballet’s holiday spectacular program has become one of the most popular traditions in Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania Ballet partnered with Munroe to develop a marketing campaign to build more excitement around the program. The look, feel and voice of the campaign focused on The Nutcracker’s magical nature, inviting audiences to take part in celebrating the return of the beloved holiday tradition. Riding the excitement built up by the new marketing, the on The Nutcracker’s program revenue was one of the highest since the 2007/2008 season.
